Montague Contemporary is thrilled to announce its first participation in the London edition of 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair, taking place between the 8 - 11 October 2020 at Somerset House in London, with an online platform powered by Christie's as well as featured works on show at Christie's King Street Gallery in London.

The gallery is excited to present a selection of Wole Lagunju's works, which appropriate and blend a variety of cultural idioms and influences to present a new take on Nigerian and Yoruba culture, alongside the richly layered works of Thameur Mejri which remind us of the endemic societal issues - regionalism, climate change, corruption, and inequality - facing not just Africa (thereby infusing African art) but the entire globe.
